ContentFilm has appointed Welsh industry veteran Huw Davies to its board as Non-Executive Chairman.
He starts the post immediately.
He is former chief executive of HTV Wales, director of TV at HTV Group, president of HTV International, chairman of Square Circle Productions, chairman of ContentFilm predecessor Winchester, chairman/chief executive of Channel Television Holdings, and member of the ITV council and co-chair of Producers’ Rights Association.
He said: “I have previously very much enjoyed working with the team at ContentFilm. It has been a difficult time for this segment of the media industry over the last couple of years and I have admired their resourcefulness, resilience and intelligence in battling against those adverse conditions. There is now reason to hope for an improving environment and I am flattered that they have asked me to return to the Company as Chairman.”
