Hyde Park Entertainment and Odd Lot Entertainment have struck a deal toco-produce and co-finance a raft of features over the next 12 to 18 months,starting with the erotic thriller Trap For Cinderella to be directed byIain Softley.

Hyde ParkInternational, the new sales division headed up by Lisa Wilson, will handlesales and distribution on the slate. Hyde Park Entertainment chairman AshokAmritraj will serve as producer on each project along with Odd Lot's foundingpartners Gigi Pritzker and Deborah Del Prete.

Hyde Park International has also taken on salesrepresentation for three films from producer Brad Gilbert under his New Yorkand Los Angeles-based Constellation banner, which is backed by private equitypartners and initially plans to make up to five pictures a year budgeted at upto $20m each.

The pictures are: The Night Job, anoir thriller to be directed by John McNaughton and star Ray Liotta and MarisaTomei; the supernatural thriller Widow's Walk to be directed byBrad Anderson (The Machinist); and newcomer Adam Prince'spsychological thriller Misfortune.

Trap For Cinderella and theConstellation films join a Cannes slate for Hyde Park which also includesRichard Gere-starrer Monkeyface, Dreamer with KurtRussell and Shopgirl with Steve Martin. Trap ForCinderella is being adapted by Chris Gerolmo from the novel by Sebastien Japrisot(A Very Long Engagement).

Hyde Park has apartnership with London-based funds manager Brass Hat Group whereby Brass Hatprovides production financing exclusively to Hyde Park.
