Boutique North American distributor Icarus Films has acquired German film-maker
Hartmut Bitomsky's documentary Dust.

Bitomsky's film explores the omniscient particles in a manner that attempts to offer new insight into our bodies, the environment and the cosmos.

The film premiered in Venice and screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival and the Philadelphia Film Festival. It is scheduled to play at the San Francisco International Film Festival and the Seattle Film Festival.

Dust will receive its US theatrical premiere in November at Film Forum in New York.

Icarus president Jonathan Miller brokered the deal with Heino Deckert of Deckert Distribution in Berlin on behalf of Bitomsky.
