IDP Distribution has hired Kristi Avram as vice president ofpublicity and promoted Shani Ankori to vice president of marketing andpromotions, and hired Daniel Feiner as director of finance and administration.

Avram will create and oversee all publicity campaigns forIDP, the joint venture between Samuel Goldwyn Films and Roadside Attractionsthat theatrically markets and distributes their feature releases.

Based in New York, she will report to IDP president MichaelSilberman and head up the bi-coastal publicity department that includesdirectors of publicity Nicolette Aizenberg and Tiffany Bair, and LindseyWeidhorn, who joins as marketing and publicity coordinator.

Prior to joining IDP, Avram served as head of theatrical publicityat Palm Pictures. Before that her appointments included stints at PorterNovelli in Boston, the 2004 Tribeca Film Festival, and New Line's publicity andpromotions department.

Ankori will oversee all marketing campaigns and creative materialsfor theatrical releases and manage special events and promotional tie-ins. Shealso reports to Silberman.

Ankori joined IDP in 2003 and has been involved in the marketingcampaigns for Raising Victor Vargas, Super Size Me, What the Bleep Do We Know' and Walk On Water.

She began her career at Atlantic Records' independentmusic unit Division One, before leaving to co-found the New York office ofParis-based independent record label George V Records.

Feiner will manage business administration and oversee financialactivities for the company. He previously served as director of businessaffairs at Hart Sharp Entertainment.

Samuel Goldwyn Films' The Squid And The Whale is scheduled for a special presentationscreening at Toronto, while Roadside Attractions' Sarah Silverman: Jesus IsMagic will be theOpening Night Midnight Madness presentation in Toronto.
