Korean sales agent iHQ has sold martial arts fantasy Shadowless Sword to Indian distributor Viswas Film, Ltd. for the territories of Singapore and Malaysia.

The period costume film is directed by Kim Young-jun and shot in China as was his first feature Bichunmoo, starring Shin Hyun-jun and Kim Hee-sun.

Shin Hyun-jun, who is also well-known for his roles in gangster comedy franchise films Marrying the Mafia 2 and 3, plays opposite Yun Soy, the battling martial arts starlet from Ryoo Seung-wan's action fantasy Arahan.

The film was produced by Taewon Entertainment with financing from New Line Cinema in an unprecedented Korean investment, as well as from CJ Entertainment which distributed the film locally.

Shadowless Sword previously sold to more than 25 territories including Germany to Splendid Films, France to CTV International, Italy to Eagle Pictures, and Indonesia to Queen Films.

Taewon is currently co-producing with Hong Kong's Visualizer Film Production the epic action film Three Kingdoms - Resurrection Of The Dragon, starring crossover talent Maggie Q (Mission: Impossible III) and pan-Asian star Andy Lau (Infernal Affairs).
