Alan Cumming, Sean Astin,Elisha Cuthbert, and Stanley Tucci have joined the voice cast of ImagiServices' upcoming CGI animated feature Cat Tale, which is scheduled for release in 2006.

Cat Tale centres on the exploits of Rover, a feline whomistakenly grows up in Dogtown and must rediscover his roots by journeying toCatopolis.

Astin will voice Rover,Cumming will play the kindly inventor Newton, Cuthbert plays Rover's loveinterest Cleo, and Tucci will voice Rover's love rival Simon.

Additional cast membersinclude Fred Willard, Catherine O'Hara, Billy Idol, Chazz Palminteri and RipTorn.

Felix Ip will direct, whileImagi Services president and chief executive officer Tom Gray is producing withGalen Walker. Francis Kao is serving as executive producer. Aaron Mendelsohnand Kevin Munroe co-wrote the screenplay.

All talent negotiationsvoice talent were conducted by Walker and casting director Dawn Hershey.

Imagi recently signedanimation veteran Kevin Munroe to write and direct a new CGI-animated feature-lengthversion of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
