A high-profile roster of filmmakers including Alfonso Cuaron,Steven Soderbergh and Richard Linklater will serve on the advisory board of theupcoming IFC Centre in New York.

Others involved in the refurbished art-house complex,which is situated smack in the heart of Manhattan's West Village on WaverlyStreet and Sixth Avenure, are several other east coast indie luminariesincluding Kevin Smith, Rebecca Miller, Errol Morris, Gary Winick and JohnSayles.

The IFC Centre is scheduled to open on Jun 17 and will featurethree state-of-the-art theatresand restaurant as well as serving as a focal point for independent filmmakers.

The centre willbe run by Cowboy Pictures co-founder John Vanco.
