Intermedia has is in the process of acquiring international distribution rights to Nailed Right In, a coming of age drama to be directed by Griffin Dunne (Addicted To Love, Practical Magic) and to star Hayden Christensen and Leelee Sobieski.

The film is written by Sopranos writer Terence Winter and is being produced by Richard B Lewis of Southpaw Media, A Beautiful Mind screenwriter Akiva Goldsman and Christensen's brother and producing partner Tove Christensen. Rachel Rothman and Varina Bleil will co-produce. Southpaw acquired the rights to the picture with Goldsman's Weed Road Pictures.

Based on Winter's own experiences when younger, Nailed Right In is the story of a group of Catholic youths in Brooklyn who have different ambitions which threaten to shake their deep friendship.

The deal, which was brokered by Emanuel Nunez of CAA, was closed between Southpaw's Lewis, former partner in Trilogy Entertainment Group, and Intermedia's president of motion picture group, worldwide distribution and acquisitions, Jere Hausfater.
