Intermedia andDavis-Anderson Merchandising Corp have teamed up to launch The AlexanderCollection, a line of merchandise inspired by the forthcoming epic Alexander, which Warner Bros releases in the US today.

Crafted by the Martoartisans in Toledo, Spain, the collection features items ranging from swordsand daggers to jewellery and fine collectibles.

"The Alexander brand matchesperfectly with our existing entertainment-based roster of licensed propertiesand in-house database of dedicated fans and customers," Davis-Anderson chiefexecutive officer Peter S Davis and president Marcy Jo Anderson said in a jointstatement.

"We bring magnificentcollectibles from epic films such as The Lord Of The Rings, Highlander and now Alexander fromthe screen to the hands of the fans."

"The Alexander Collectionembodies the film's detail and magnificent vision," Paula Hoppe, licensingagent for Alexander, added.
