Shedding37% of its earnings, UIP's The Terminal dropped to second place threeweeks after its Venice premiere, having earned $6,316,704. Bim's Farenheit9/11 also suffered a substantial drop in earnings (-41%) but has stillregistered an enormous $8,937,045 four weeks into its release.

Meanwhile,another two Italian features that premiered in Venice have just been released.Following Nanni Moretti-produced Te Lo Leggo Negli Occhi and GianniAmelio's The House Keys, last weekend saw the release of Carlo Mazzacurati'sL'Amore Ritrovato and Vincenzo Marra's Vento Di Terra.

Mazzacurati'speriod drama, which stars Stefano Accorsi (The Last Kiss) and Maya Sansa(The Best of Youth), earned $666,796 for Medusa, while Mikado's critically-acclaimeddrama Vento Di Terra opened on 13 screens but registered a timid$18,902.
