The partner is appointed to the new post and most recently served as partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP.

In his previous position Willhite represented The William Morris Agency in the 2009 merger with Endeavor that resulted in William Morris Endeavor.

Willhite also played a key role in the $8bn sale of the Times Mirror to the Tribune Company.
