Jamie Foxx and producing partners Jaime Rucker King and MarcusKing have signed a two-year first-look deal with MTV Films and Paramount Pictures.

Foxx, Rucker King and King will offer their servicesin developing, supervising, producing and consulting a slate of projects, withFoxx set to appear in certain MTV and Paramount titles where appropriate.

Foxx, who won this year's best actor Oscar for Ray, is currently shooting Miami Vice for Universal, and is set to star opposite Beyonce Knowlesin Bill Condon's adaptation of Dreamgirls,which Paramount will distribute outside North America. DreamWorks will handlethe domestic release.

He will next appear in Sam Mendes' adaptation of Anthony Swofford's Gulf Warmemoirs Jarhead for Universal.

"MTV has an amazing history with Jamie Foxx aswell as Marcus and Jaime King, so this is a fantastic opportunity to work withtheir talents and develop compelling feature films that suit the uniquesensibility of our audience," MTV Films and MTV Networks Music Group presidentVan Toffler said.

"Ever since In Living Color we have been huge Jamie Foxx fans and had a greattime working with him, including his hosting the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. To expand that relationshipinto our feature film business makes perfect sense for us."

Recent MTV Films releases include Napoleon Dynamite, Better Luck Tomorrow, and Jackass The Movie.
