Korean seller Showbox has announced a slew of post-Cannes sales led by SPO picking up Japanese rights for stock market swindle thriller The Scam and low-budget melodrama More Than Blue.

Mediatres Estudio picked up Kim Ki-duk’s Dream for Spain, where it will distribute the Joe Odagiri-starring drama jointly with Warner Brothers Spain.

In addition, Showbox pre-sold martial arts period romance The Sword With No Name to Asian-a Film Investment for China and M Pictures for Thailand.

As previously announced, the big-budget film starring Cho Seung-woo (Tazza: The High Rollers) and Su Ae (Sunny) also went to Showbox Media Group for the UK and Splendid Films for German-speaking Europe and Benelux.

Showbox Mediaplex also stated that it is working towards locking down a deal on Japanese rights for Yang Ik-june’s Rotterdam winner Breathless.
