Steven Jarmus and Philip Schuman have been named co-presidents of Universal International Television, overseeing the distribution of all Universal feature films globally in all forms of television (pay-TV, pay-per-view, video-on-demand, non-theatrical, broadcast, satellite-to-home, basic cable) as well as Universal's TV programming internationally.
They are also responsible for the international distribution of original programming from USA Networks, Studios USA, USA Cable Entertainment and Sci-Fi Network.
Jarmus was previously executive vice president and co-head of Universal International Television since 1998. He joined Universal in 1982 as vice president, Asia, for CIC, moving to vice president, International MCA Home Entertainment Group in 1987 and then senior vice president, pay television, MCA Home Entertainment Group in 1996.
Schuman was named executive vice president of Universal Television & Networks Group in 1998. He joined Universal in 1995 as vice president, business affairs, home entertainment group, before becoming senior vice president, business and legal affairs for Universal Television & Network Groups.
