The Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) has announced its final two honours of the current awards season.

Jessica Chastain, ubiquitous this season in a number of eye-catching roles in The Help, The Tree Of Life, Take Shelter, Coriolanus and The Debt, will receive the Spotlight Award.

Composer Howard Shore wrote the score to Hugo and is being honoured with the Frederick Loewe Music Award.

The PSIFF is scheduled to run from Jan 5-16, 2012.
