First Run Features has sold its interest in First Run/Icarus Films back to the company with the result that First Run/Icarus Films is now wholly owned by Jonathan Miller, who will continue as president of the company.
First Run/Icarus Films will change its name to Icarus Films from June 1 and will unveil new titles shortly.
Seymour Wishman's First Run Features will continue to distribute in the theatrical, home video, and television markets and will offer many of its non-theatrical titles through Icarus Films.
In the coming months First Run will announce plans to offer a select number of non-theatrical titles exclusively through a new division of First Run Features.
