The executive most recently served as evp at Chernin Entertainment and starts work this month, reporting to president of production Jeb Brody.

McLaughlin will operate from Focus Features’ West Coast offices and liaise closely with the global production team in New York, London and Los Angeles.

Prior to Chernin Entertainment, McLaughlin was evp and co-head of the motion picture division at The Mark Gordon Company. He started his career at The Gersh Agency.
