Keith Potter has joined the Film Agency for Wales as its head of talent.

Potter had been in charge of development for London-based production company Dan Films, working on Christopher Smith's Triangle, Tom Rob Smith's Put Together, and Jeff Noon's Creeping Zero.

He is also a member of the advisory board of the International Screenwriters Festival.

He replaces the agency's former head of talent, Britt Harrison.

Keith starts work with the Cardiff-based group effective immediately, taking responsibility for identifying and nurturing Welsh filmmaking talent and their projects, including agency's current slate of 20 features.

'As an organisation, the Film Agency for Wales has impressed me with their open style of communication and professional approach,' he said. 'The team really do enjoy strong links with filmmaking talent and are very proactive in nurturing and developing that talent. Like the team, I am serious about getting films into production and look forward to working alongside them to develop the slate.'
