Korea's Mirovision has inkeda deal with local production house bom Film Productions for both domestic andinternational distribution of Hong Sang-soo's next film, Woman On The Beach, which is currently in production.

The project marks the firsttime Hong has worked with Bom, one of Korea's leading production houses withcredits including You're My Sunshine and Untold Scandal.

It also marks the featuredebut of Korean diva and television star Ko Hyun-joung. The cast also includesKim Seung-woo, star of Heaven's Soldiers, and Kim Tae-woo who starred in Hong's Cannes 2004 competition title WomanIs The Future Of Man.

The film tells the story ofa movie director, played by Kim Seung-woo, who entices his young friend to cometo the beach on the pretext of writing a script. He then starts an affair withthe friend's girlfriend.

Mirovision, which hasstepped up its production financing and domestic distribution activity thisyear, plans to release Woman On The Beach as its first wide release Korean title in late August 2006.

The company's slate alsoincludes its first English-language feature, Sam's Lake, which recently screened at Tribeca, and three bigsummer titles - Ahn Byung-ki's APT,Cho Min-ho's Les Formidables andDasepo Naughty Girls, directed byEJ Yong. Mirovision is also launching new Korean stylish heist thriller Monopoly at Cannes.

Mirovision recently releasedSaw 2 and Final Destination 3 in Korea and upcoming titles include Silent Hill and Paris Je T'aime.
