Sony's mystery The Forgotten grossed an estimated $3m on 1,525 screens in 27 marketsthrough Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI) at the weekend, openingthird in the UK on $1.1m on 300 and fourth in Holland on $230,000 on 30.
Holdovers raised the picture to$3.9m in Germany for seventh place in its third weekend and $5m in Mexico forsixth place in its sixth weekend, while Brazil stands on $2.4m after fourweekends and Australia has produced $2.6m after the same amount of time.
The Forgotten has grossed $25.6m through SPRI markets and $26.3m through alldistributors.
Revolution Studios' comedy Christmas With The Kranks opened day-and-date with the US in threemarkets at the weekend, grossing an estimated $1m on 491 screens.
It opened sixth in Germany on $755,000 on 350, fourth in Austriaon $140,000 on 48, and took $125,000 on 40 in Switzerland for an unconfirmedranking.
The dark comedy Bad Santa added $1.6m on 813 screens in nine markets for a $7.4m SPRIinternational running total, rising to $7.7m through all distributors. Itopened in fifth place in Australia on $640,000 on 186 screens.
Bad Santahas grossed $3.9m in the UK after fourth weekends, $1.3m in Italy after two,and $818,000 in Germany after two.
Anacondas: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid added $1.3m on 840 in 24 markets for a$28.8m international running total. Spain produced fourth place on $915,000 on355.
