Screen Gems has promoted Pamela Kunath to executive vice president and general manager and charged her with overseeing all operations and administration across all areas of the studio's business.
In her expanded role Kunath, who joined Screen Gems shortly after its inception in 2001, will continue to head the company's business affairs and reports to Screen Gems president Clint Culpepper.
Over the years she has become a central figure at Screen Gems alongside Culpepper, who praised her 'uncanny business acumen, people skills, intelligence, logic and integrity.' He added: 'Pam has become a true partner in the growth of Screen Gems and I am grateful she will continue to be by my side.'
