Hollywood-based entertainment advertising and marketing firm BDFox & Friends will launch a sales division at the European Film Market inBerlin next week.

The inaugural slate will feature six titles comprising fourcompleted projects: Michael Parness’ dysfunctional family comedy MySuicidal Sweetheartstarring Tim Blake Nelson and Rosanna Arquette; Tony Elwood’s thriller ColdStorage; JetEller’s alien picture Night Feeders; and Mark Roemmich’s dark romance Taylor.

The two projects in development are the cancer drama NotWithout Hope, andconspiracy thriller The Orion Agenda. Vice president Kristine Kreska will commence sales atBerlin; the company holds worldwide rights on all the titles.

Company chief executive officer Brian Fox said the move was aninevitable step as B D Fox & Friends faced a growing number of requestsfrom filmmakers on how to distribute their pictures.

The company will now offerreferral to co-production and P&A funding sources for qualifying projectsas well as sales in all media.

“Sellingfilms, whether to the trade or consumer, is reliant on the strength of themarketing,” Fox said. “We’re in the unique position of beingable to offer filmmakers superior advertising and promotional materials alongwith worldwide sales expertise.”
