Lakeshore Entertainment has announced casting on the upcoming horror film Pathology, which will star Milo Ventimiglia, Lauren Lee Smith, Alyssa Milano, and Johnny Whitworth.
Filming is set to begin in April on the story of medical students who devise a sinister game to see who among them can commit the perfect murder. Lakeshore will introduce the project to buyers at Cannes and MGM will release domestically later this year.
German commercials film-maker Marc Schoelermann will direct and Skip Williamson, Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine will produce with Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi.
Upcoming Lakeshore Entertainment productions include: the horror title Midnight Meat Train starring Vinnie Jones and Bradley Cooper; Elegy, Isabel Coixet's adaptation of Philip Roth's novella The Dying Animal that will star Penelope Cruz, Ben Kingsley and Patricia Clarkson; and the cyber-thriller Untraceable starring Diane Lane, and Colin Hanks.
