Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment’s drama is based on Philip Roth’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel. Production is expected to start in early 2013.

John Romano adapted the screenplay about a successful immigrant whose life is shattered by his daughter’s violent protest during the Vietnam War.

Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are producing with Sidney Kimmel. SKE president Jim Tauber and SKE president of production Matt Berenson serve as executive producers.
