Los Angeles-based sales and distribution house LightningEntertainment has acquired international rights to What The Bleep Do WeKnow'

Bleep centres on a woman's Alice in Wonderland-like journeythrough the molecular portals of life and is a Captured Light presentation of aLord of the Winds Films Production.

Marlee Matlin, Elaine Hendrix, Barry Newman and Robert Bailey Jrstar in the picture, which was directed by Betsy Chasse, William Arntz and MarkVicente and produced by Chasse and Arntz.

Samuel Goldwyn Films and Roadside Attractions are handlingdistribution in the US, where Bleep ison the way to passing $7m in 150 theatres and will expand throughout the restof the year.

"This is an incredibly unique film that engages the mind on everylevel," Lightning Entertainment co-president Richard S Guardian said in astatement.

"With a story unlike anything I have ever seen, it is surelycapable of captivating international audiences just as it has here in the US.

"The entire 'mind/body/spirit market' that initially discoversthis film is the spark that spreads the word to a much broader audience. We're excited to be working with thepassionate filmmakers behind this success and look to capitalise on themomentum the film continues to generate."

Guardian was introducedto the producers of the film by producer representative Jonathan Dana, whoserves as worldwide sales and marketing consultant.
