Taking Lives grossed an estimated $3m and 547,000 admissions from1,967 screens in 39 territories through Warner Bros Pictures International atthe weekend, raising its international cumulative total to $18.2m.

The thriller opened in theUK on $575,000 on 258 screens, which by comparison was roughly 52% better thanthe opening of High Crimes inlate 2002.

Taking Lives opened second in Holland on $247,000 on 49,approximately the same as the opening of Kiss The Girls in 1998 and 31% better than Along Came A Spider in 2001.

The romantic comedy Something'sGotta Give added $1.1m with 248,000admissions from 970 screens in 46 territories, raising its internationalrunning total to $136.9m.
