New York-based Kahn Media Strategies founded by Sharon J Kahn and Los Angeles-based Kallista PR and Marketing headed by Beve Regas have launched an inter-agency alliance.
DoubleK PR & Marketing will offer national and international services for clients inside and outside the entertainment industry.
The operation will cover traditional and social media product launches, corporate communication and media strategies, festival, awards campaigns and event management in film, television, theatre and music.
“Our agencies have collaborated on several projects over the past two years, and we discovered that together we offer a uniquely powerful team with the vision, capability and extensive contacts required in today’s complex media marketplace,” said Regas.
“The DoubleK business model meets the increasing demand for a firm that can combine the reach and comprehensive approach to service of a large agency, with the focused client attention of a boutique operation,” added Kahn.
Regas launched Kallista PR & Marketing in 2008 and prior to that held positions including svp of worldwide marketing at Rysher Entertainment and vp of marketing at GRB Entertainment as well as executive positions at Odyssey Entertainment and Orion Pictures.
Kahn established Kahn Media Strategies in 2001 and re-launched in 2007 after a two-year hiatus. She was a co-founder of Kahn + Jacobs Public Relations and Marketing and served as svp of publicity and promotions at Fox Searchlight and vp of communications at Rainbow Media’s VOOM HD.
