Norwegian filmmaker Mona J. Hoel's comedy Chlorox,Ammonia And Coffee (Salto, Salmiakk Og Kaffe!) won the Main Award ofMannheim-Heidelberg at this year's International Film FestivalMannheim-Heidelberg (18-27 November).

The International Jury gave its Special Award to threefilms: David Lanzmann's Doo Wop, Annette Sjursen's My Jealous Barber(Min Misunnelige Frisor) and Nathaniel Geary's On The Corner, whilethe Rainer Werner Fassbinder Prize was presented to Mila From Mars (Mila OtMars) by young Bulgarian director Zornitsa Sophia who also received thePrize of the Ecumenical Jury.

Meanwhile, the Audience Award was shared this year by GermanFilm & Television Academy student Nuray Sahin for her poetical andemotionally moving graduation film Follow The Feather (Folge Der Feder)and Serbian filmmaker Srdjan Kolevic's comedy Red Coloured Grey Truck (SiviKamion Crvene Boje).

In addition, the FIPRESCI Jury gave their prize toLanzmann's feature debut Doo Wop, and Palestinian filmmaker AnnemarieJacir's Like Twenty Impossibles set in the Israeli-occupied area wasnamed Best Short Film by the International Jury.
