Mafia story This Thing Of Oursstarring James Caan sold to Romania, Brazil, Chile, Turkey, and Benelux.
Action thriller Carlita's Secretstarring Eva Longoria went to Mexico and all of Latin America, as well as theCzech Republic, former Yugoslavia, Hungary, and Slovenia.
Comedy Nora's Hair Salon starringJennifer Lewis and Bobby Brown went to Turkey and Benelux; while comedies BahamaHustle, A Night In Compton and 3 Play went to Turkey. Erotic title Surrender sold to France.
"We're delighted with the amazing response by international buyers to ourdebut offerings at Cannes," Maverick Entertainment Group chief Doug Schwabsaid.
"Foreign film buyers are taking notice of our catalogue of quality filmsthat boast major star power and storylines having strong appeal to worldaudiences."
Maverick Global launched at AFM 2005 under the leadership of internationalsales director Jack Campbell.
