Terri Melkonian has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of sales, marketing and corporate communications at Sunset Gower Studios.
Melkonian joined 10 months ago as vice-president of sales and marketing and previously served as a production representative at Universal Studios for nine years.0
Sunset Gower Studios is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment of its 12 sound stages and support facilities. Construction is underway on a new 96,000 sq ft, six-floor building to house Technicolor post-production facilities that should be ready by December.
Recent productions at the studio include Garry Marshall's upcoming release Georgia Rule starring Jane Fonda and Lindsay Lohan, as well as Robert DeNiro's The Good Shepherd, and Steven Soderbergh's The Good German.
