Indie PR chief Jim Dobson said today [Sept 1] the First Annual Miami Latin Gay Film Festival will run from April 16-19 2009 in Miami Beach.
Dobson is festival organiser and executive director and said the competitive four-day event will coincide with Miami Gay Pride Weekend and serve as a springboard for gay Latin talent in film and music.
During his six-year tenure at the Miami Gay And Lesbian Film Festival, Dobson said he has noticed 'a huge demand for Latin gay films and programming that was not always available.'
He will announce staff and sponsors later this year and plans to open the Miami branch of Indie PR in October.
