The international sales veteran who most recently served at Hyde Park International has resurfaced with her new company, Radiant Films International. Lullaby and I Am are the first two titles confirmed for the EFM.

Steinbauer becomes president and CEO of the venture, which is backed by private investors and plans to acquire and distribute between six and eight commercial theatrical titles a year.

“Choosing exceptional product for the marketplace and working closely with my filmmakers is a prime motivator to launching Radiant,” Steinbauer said. “The international buyers are looking for the right product and meaningful support to release the films and we are well placed to do that. These are exciting times.”

Joining Steinbauer is former Hyde Park sales executive Aska Yamaguchi as vp of international sales and distribution while Pamela Delaney provides legal services. 

The romance Lullaby comes from the fine artist Andrew Levitas and is set to begin principal photography in spring. Andrea Stone-Brokaw and Cary Brokaw are producing the story of a man who learns that his estranged, ailing father has decided to end his life within 48 hours. Levitas served as executive producer on Sundance 2011 entry The Art Of Getting By.

I Amis the documentary from Tom Shadyac, the director of Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar and Ace Ventura who decided to interview the leading thinkers of our time after experiencing a life-changing motorbike accident in 2007.

Prior to Hyde Park International where she handled sales on Blue Valentine, Ghost Rider 2 and Machete, among others, Steinbauer worked as a consultant for Voltage Pictures on The Hurt Locker and others.

She has held senior positions at Franchise Pictures, Mobius International, New Line and Capella International.

Yamaguchi began her film career in 2007 at Inferno Distribution before joining Hyde Park as director of international sales.
