Ahead of its Critics Week unveiling next week in Cannes, MirandaJuly's quirky relationship drama Me And You And Everyone We Know has won the top narrative feature prizeat the 48th San Francisco International Film Festival, which ended yesterday .

A joint production of the UK's Film Four and New York's IFC Films,July's feature-length also played in competition at this year's Sundance FilmFestival, where it was awarded a special jury prize for originality of vision.It will be released theatrically by IFC this summer in the US.

The San Francisco FIPRESCI Prize went to Italian filmmaker SaverioCostanzo's Israel-Palestine drama Private, while the Golden Gate awards went to Vit Klusak and FilipRemunda's Czech documentary Czech Dream, which explores the social impact of a massive publicitystunt that made the national headlines.

Best Bay Area documentary feature went to Taggart Siegel's TheReal Dirt On Farmer John,which profiles a farmer who creates art out of agriculture.

In other Golden Gate awards, Till Passow won best documentaryshort for her Pakistan/German entry The Ecstatic, and Dan Krauss collected best Bay Areadocumentary short for the US/South Africa co-production The Life Of KevinCarter.

Lisl Ponger was awarded the New Visions award for her Austrianshort Phantom Foreign Vienna, while Victoria Gamburg's US/Russian Twilight won best narrative short.

Kerry Laitala's US title Torchlight Tango collected Bay Area Non-Documentary Shorthonours, and Chris Landreth's Candian entry Ryan won best animated short.
