Lisa M Pierozzi has joined the MPAA as chief financial officer andexecutive vice president of finance and administration and will begin work inthe Los Angeles office on Feb 6.

In addition, Michael Robinson becomes the new director of US anti-piracy operationsand assumed his position early last week.

He will report to executive vice-president and director of worldwideanti-piracy operations John G Malcolm, while Pierozzi will report to MPAApresident and chief operating officer A Robert Pisano.

Pierozzi will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of allaspects of MPAA's finances, and will oversee human resources, facilities andinformation services.

"We are glad to have the talent and expertise of Lisa Pierozzi and MichaelRobinson at the MPAA," MPAA chairman and chief executive officer Dan Glickmansaid.

"They will be a great asset to the MPAA in achieving our core mission ofadvocating for the motion picture industry."

She served for four years as senior vice president of business planning anddevelopment for Universal Studios' Parks and Resorts Group. Prior to Universalshe served 17 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Robinson will be in charge of developing long-term strategies and managing theday-to-day operations of the MPAA's US anti-piracy programme.

Key duties will include public outreach work and education and coordinatingwith nationwide law enforcement officials to stamp out antic-copyrightactivities.

Robinson arrives from the Transportation Security Administration, where heserved as federal security director at New Orleans International Airport. Priorto that he was Michigan's first homeland security director.
