MTV Films has acquired feature rights from Atari to Marc Ecko'supcoming video game Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, which is scheduled to launch on gamingconsoles in February 2006.

Paramount will distribute the picture and Ecko will produce alongwith MTV Films' Gregg Goldin, who brought the project to the company.

Golden's colleagues Jason Weiss and David Gale will develop thestory, an homage to graffiti set in an alternate reality somewhere in thefuture.

In the game, which features a glittering array of voice talentincluding Rosario Dawson, Sean Combs and Brittany Murphy, players assume thecharacter of a graffiti artist who tries to depose a corrupt mayor.

"We are eager to continually tap into the unique culture thatexists in the video gaming world because these types of projects have a uniqueconnection to the MTV audience," Gale, MTV Films' executive vicepresident, said.

"Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure is an incredibly cool and differenttitle - and one that we believe will redefine the industry."
