TheChronicles of Narnia: The Lion,The Witch and The Wardrobe is tohave its world premiere in London on December7 as the 2005 Royal Film Performance in aid of theCinema and Television Benevolent Fund.

The film will screen in thepresence of HRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchessof Cornwall at the Royal Albert Hall.

For the fourBritish youngsters who play the Pevensie children - Anna Popplewell (17), Willilam Mosely (18),Skandar Keynes (14) and Georgie Henley (10) - willattend with many of their co-stars who include Tilda Swinton, Liam Neeson,James McAvoy, Rupert Everett, Jim Broadbent, Ray Winstone and Dawn French.

The RoyalAlbert Hall will be converted into a 'filmpalace' for the evening, with a white carpet replacing the traditional premiere red carpet.A 'magical winter wonderland' party will beheld afterwards in a huge marquee in Kensington Gardens

The announcementwas made by Walt Disney Studios, Walden Media, the CTBF and Clarence House.
