National Lampoonand Los Angeles-based production company ProActive Media Group have begunproduction in Los Angeles on Martin Guigui's comedy National Lampoon'sCattle Call.
The story follows a group oftestosterone-fuelled friends who set up a fake casting office to meet girls andare forced into making a film after they receive a torrent of interest.
Thomas IanNicholas, Jenny Mollen, Andrew Katos, Deidrich Bader and Nicole Eggert star.National Lampoon plans a spring 2006 domestic release.
Writer-director Guiguirecently directed the romantic comedy Swing starring Jacqueline Bisset and Tom Skerritt, and hisprevious credits include the comedy drama Changing Hearts starring Faye Dunaway, Skerritt and Lauren Holly.
