Overture Films has hired John Sinayi as senior vice president theatrical distribution.
Sinayi previously served as vice president/district manager of Western and Central Divisions for New Line Cinema where he worked in both the Los Angeles and Dallas offices.
During his 14-year tenure at New Line he oversaw distribution functions for films including The Mask, Wedding Crashers, Hairspray, and The Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
Overture recently released its first feature, the comedy Mad Money starring Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes.
Upcoming release include the drama Sleepwalking with John Stahl, AnnaSophia Robb and Charlize Theron, and the Sundance acquisition and comedic drama Henry Poole Is Here starring Luke Wilson.
