UK distributor takes on Once Upon a Time In Anatolia and Hors Satan.

UK independent distributor New Wave Films has confirmed two acquisitions from Cannes.

They are Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s Once Upon A Time In Anatolia and Bruno Dumont’s Hors Satan.

New Wave’s Robert Beeson and Pam Engel have a long track record with Ceylan, working on all his earlier films while they were at Artificial Eye, and then releasing Three Monkeys via New Wave in 2008. The film won the Grand Prix in Cannes.

The deal for Un Certain Regard title Hors Satan was done with Pyramide.
