Calendar Girls showed amazing resilience in its fourth weekend by reclaiming the top spot from S.W.A.T, which is on 13 more screens and only in its second week. The gap between them only amounted to NZ$5,000 but Calendar Girls' highest-in-the-chart screen average indicates there is a lot more life in the old girls.

Three new films hit the chart. They are 20th Century Fox's Runaway Jury, which took nearly NZ$133,000 from 35 screens to take fourth position, BVI's Holes, with just over NZ$92,000 from 25 screens in sixth position, and REP's White Oleander, with its NZ$30,000 gross from 22 screens winning it the tenth spot.

Still refusing to leave the top ten are Pirates Of The Caribbean which has now grossed NZ$4.5m, and Finding Nemo, on an even more impressive NZ$6.2m.
