Aaron Eckhart has replaced Alec Baldwin in spy thriller Chief Of Station, which Concourse Media is introducing to AFM buyers this week.

Jesse V. Johnson (White Elephant) will direct and production is set to commence in November in Budapest.

The story follows a former CIA station chief forced back into the world of espionage after he learns the death of his wife was not an accident. He teams up with his protégé (Alex Pettyfer), adversaries, and a rogue agent (Olga Kurylenko) to unravel a conspiracy that challenges everything he thought he knew.

Eckhart starred in Thank You for Smoking and Erin Brockovich and has Ambush coming up. Pettyfer’s credits include Magic Mike and Back Roads and Kurylenko starred in Quantum Of Solace and Hitman and has Boudica in post.

Steve Lee Jones produces for Bee Holder Productions and Matthew Shreder is executive producer for Concourse Media, which handles worldwide rights, alongside Joseph Lanius and Julien P. Bourgon. Ashland Hill and Filmology Finance are financing the project.

Concourse Media’s sales slate includes Eugene The Marine starring Nick Nolte and Barbara Hershey about a former Marine who encounters a mysterious woman as people in his life start to die. Completed thriller Hitmen starring Eric Roberts centres on a powerful businessman who offers a high bounty for whoever assassinates his grandson’s killers. Completed thriller Good Egg finds a schoolteacher and her husband on the run after they get caught up with criminals following an IVF procedure.
