EXCLUSIVE: ACE Producers has selected 18 independent producers for the seventh edition of its Animation Special business programme, including two UK participants.
The workshop programme will offer knowledge on how participants can diversify their business by developing and producing long-form, feature and series animation productions for an international audience.

It will run from March 17-22 in Dingle, Ireland in collaboration with the Animation Dingle festival.
It will focus on the creative and financial aspects of animation production, with sessions on animatic story development, internal production workflows, the creative dynamics of animation production, financing strategies and international distribution.
It will also include sessions on physical line production and case studios on completed animation projects.
Julia Ouston of Title Page Films and Vicki Rock of Enter Yes are participating from the UK; with participants from Ireland including Brunella Cocchiglia of Lovely Productions, Ed Moline of Lighthouse Studios and Artem Vasyliev of Irish-Moldovan firm Lazy Sunday.
Also taking part is David Keitsch of Germany’s Komplizen Film, the company with production or co-production credits on titles including Sentimental Value, Toni Erdmann, Spencer, A Fantastic Woman and Maria.
