EXCLUSIVE: New Paris-based international sales company The Pool Films has boarded Graham Guit’s Stronger Than The Devil (Plus Forts Que Le Diable) and is launching sales on the dark comedy horror film starring Melvil Poupaud (Laurence Anyways) and Asia Argento at AFM.
Poupaud plays a man living on the fringes of society who reconnects with his estranged son and his son’s girlfriend, but a sinister trio of criminals shows up to lead them into a violent downward spiral.
The film co-stars Marine Vacth and Nahuel Perez Biscayart (120 BPM) and is now completed, with a screener available to buyers.
Rockstone Films produced the Belgium-France co-production.
It is Guit’s first feature since 2008’s Hello Goodbye starring Fanny Ardant and Gerard Depardieu.
