AGC Studios has expanded its marketing team with the hire of industry veteran Jill Jones and has also announced recognition for several founding executives.

Jones joins as EVP of marketing and publicity. She most recently served as EVP marketing and communications at Mister Smith in the Paris office where she worked on more than 50 feature campaigns in collaboration with partners at Disney, Universal, Paramount, Netflix, Apple and scores of international distributors.

Prior to Mister Smith Jones was first SVP then EVP of international marketing and publicity at Summit and Lionsgate respectively in Los Angeles, where she oversaw marketing and publicity on the Twilight franchise and worked on the Cannes launch of Terrence Malick’s Palme d’Or winner The Tree Of Life.

Founding executives Glendon Palmer, Frank Prugo and Bonnie Voland, each of whom was with AGC Studios chairman and CEO Stuart Ford and co-chairman and COO Miguel Palos when the company launched in 2018, are also involved in significant career developments.

Prugo, formerly AGC’s EVP of technical operations and an executive who was with Ford at IM Global prior to AGC Studios, has been promoted to EVP of technical operations and post-production, reflecting the company’s increasing production activity across film and television.

Palmer is promoted from SVP of film and television to EVP of production. He is currently a producer on AGC’s The Perfect Find from director Numa Perrier starring Gabrielle Union and Gina Torres for Netflix. Palmer too worked with Ford at IM Global where he was executive producer on such projects as Southside With You and Fifty Shades Of Black.

Voland has renewed her contract as AGC’s head of worldwide marketing and publicity having previously served in a similar capacity for 11 years at IM Global.

“As AGC moves towards even more prodigious levels of film and television output, it’s vitally important that we maintain a bedrock of heavyweight executives to help steer the ship,” said Ford. “We’re delighted to welcome an executive of Jill’s calibre and reputation into the fold and equally delighted to extend the relationships with Bonnie, Glendon and Frank with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with for collectively more than 30 years.”
