The executive has joined the rebranded company as svp of business development and mergers & acquisitions.

Jenkins will work closely with Alchemy CEO Bill Lee to identify and evaluate potential growth strategies and acquisitions targets for the company.

“Jim is a seasoned executive with a rich deep understanding of the entertainment industry,” said Lee. 

“We look to grow Alchemy by making wise decisions as to the companies we acquire and I am confident in Jim’s expertise to gather all the knowledge, data and perspective we need to accomplish that goal.”

Prior to Alchemy, Jenkins served as Sony DADC’s svp of business development and prior to that he consulted on business and supply chain systems for a number of companies including Cinram, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Hit Entertainment.

He also previously held executive roles at Lionsgate and Artisan Entertainment.
