Amazon Studios has acquired worldwide rights to the recent Sundance documentary premiere My Name is Pauli Murray from Participant, Drexler Films and Storyville Films production.

Betsy West and Julie Cohen (RBG) directed the film about the Civil Rights activist, priest and memoirist whose work shaped landmark litigation and awareness around race and gender equity.

Talleah Bridges McMahon produced, and Participant’s Jeff Skoll, Diane Weyermann and Elise Pearlstein served as executive producers alongside Peggy Drexler.

Amazon Studios negotiated the deal with Participant and Cinetic on behalf of the filmmakers.

Participant and Magnolia Pictures co-distributed RBG, which received its world premiere at 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
