Dead Eyes

EXCLUSIVE: Alliance Media Partners (AMP) has begun talks at EFM on the horror Dead Eyes ahead of its world premiere at SXSW in Austin, Texas, next month.

Mischa Heywood from Let Her Go and Ana Thu Nguyen from the upcoming Mortal Kombat II star in the story of a young man and his friends who venture into a forest in search of his missing father. There they uncover a terrifying secret about the father and discover that the line between the living and the dead has become blurred.

The cast includes Stephen Phillips, Charles Cottier, Alea O’Shea, and Rijen Laine.

Richard E. Williams wrote and directed Dead Eyes, which was shot from a first-person perspective using a custom head-mounted camera system. The horror premieres in SXSW’s Visions programme for bold, distinctive features with strong directorial voices.

“We’re incredibly excited to be launching Dead Eyes at EFM ahead of its World Premiere at SXSW, where it fits perfectly,” AMP head of sales and acquisitions Anthony Buckner said. “This is a bold, POV-driven horror film that puts audiences directly inside the nightmare, and we’re already seeing strong interest from buyers looking for distinctive genre titles with a major festival launch.”

“I’m thrilled to be bringing Dead Eyes to audiences around the world through Alliance Media Partners,” said writer-director Richard E. Williams. “AMP immediately understood the film’s ambition and its approach to POV horror, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner to launch this story globally.”

AMP represents worldwide rights. Its current slate includes Paul Andrew Williams’s 2025 Tribeca award winner Dragonfly starring Andrea Risborough and Brenda Blethyn; 2025 Galway and Tallinn Black Nights supernatural horror The Morrigan; and the upcoming possession horror Entity Within starring Heather Graham and Mimi Rogers.
