The Color Rose

Arclight Films and Untitled Entertainment are teaming up on worldwide sales on the teen cult thriller The Color Rose heading into the Cannes virtual market.

Courtney Paige directed the story of an A-list girl clique that launches a cult where each must embody one of the seven deadly sins. Then one-by-one the girls begin to go missing.

The cast brings TV credits from The Killing, Riverdale and The Man In The High Castle among others and includes Kaitlyn Bernard, Brenna Llewellyn, Brenna Coates, Tahmoh Penikett, Loretta Walsh, Aleks Paunovic, Michael Eklund, Lochlyn Munro, Dylan Playfair, Elysia Rotaru, James Neate, and Maxwell Haynes.

Paige co-wrote the screenplay with Erin Hazlehurst, and Madison Smith. Siena Oberman and Hanna Griffiths produced with Alan MacFarlane. Executive producers are Aleks Paunovic, Aftab S Chauhan, Kyler Fisher, Courtenay Semel, Amar Deep Singh Hari, Justin Hoertling, Gil Demeter, Suzann Toni, Heliya Alam, and Samantha Thomas.

The Color Rose recently premiered at Mammoth Film Festival and is a Globetrotter Pictures and Neon Cinema Films production in partnership with Steven Richmond, Rylan Oleksyn, and Nicholas Adam Clark. Stirling Bancroft served as cinematographer.

Laura Rister of Untitled Entertainment brokered the deal on behalf of the producers with Michelle Krumm, head of Australian operations and worldwide acquisitions at Arclight Films.

Arclight Films’ current slate of available films includes The King’s Daughter starring Pierce Brosnan and Kaya Scodelario and narrated by Julie Andrews; comedy Butter with Mira Sorvino; female action epic Tomiris; and true-life prison break story Escape From Pretoria, starring Daniel Radcliffe.
