Bradley Whitford, Toby Kebbell and Scoot McNairy have joined Nicole Kidman on Karyn Kusama’s crime thriller Destroyer, which 30WEST is fully financing and Rocket Science sells internationally.

Principal photography is set to begin next week in Los Angeles on the story of an LAPD detective who must confront her traumatic past working undercover in a California desert gang when the leader reemerges.

Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi wrote the screenplay and Automatik’s Fred Berger produces alongside Hay and Manfredi. Tatiana Maslany and Sebastian Stan recently joined the cast.

Rocket Science launched sales at the AFM earlier in the month, when Bliss Media picked up Chinese rights. ICM Partners and CAA represent North American rights.

Whitford stars in The Post, which was named film of the year by the National Board of Review on Tuesday. He also starred in breakout hit Get Out and recently wrapped filming on Godzilla: King Of Monsters for Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros.

Kebbell’s credits include War For The Planet Of The Apes for Fox and Kong: Skull Island. He stars in Whitney Cummings’ rom-com The Female Brain that opens in February.

McNairy has appeared in 12 Years A Slave, War Machine, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice and Argo and he recently wrapped production on The Legacy Of A Whitetail Deer Hunter starring Josh Brolin and Danny McBride.
