EXCLUSIVE: Calgary-based Kino Sum Productions is taking meetings with sales agents at TIFF on Dominique van Olm’s supernatural feature Do You See Ghosts? starring Canadian independent powerhouse Grace Glowicki from the 2025 TIFF and Berlinale gothic thriller Honey Bunch.

Glowicki plays a butcher struggling against a violent impulse she thought she had buried in the story, which takes place in the Canadian Prairies and weaves together three stories connected to a mysterious haunted hotline.

The other storylines involve a young teen followed by the ghost of her best friend’s father, and a safety administrator who begins to unravel after being forced into retirement.

Production took place in and around Calgary and spanned two blocks from March 5 to August 27 to capture the seasons.

Glowicki starred in 2025 Sundance and Rotterdam selection Dead Lover and broke out with her 2019 SXSW directorial debut Tito, which earned a Canadian Screen Awards best first feature nomination.

Starring alongside her in Van Olm’s ensemble are Michelle Morgan, Chantal Perron, Telly James, and newcomers Vivienne Guynn and Calix Miguel.

Bryn Wiebe wrote the screenplay based on a story by Wiebe and van Olm and the producers are Kino Sum’s Guillaume Carlier and False Veil Film’s Grant Cooper. Van Olm and Kino Sum’s Gillian McKercher, and Michael Peterson serve as executive producers.
